A dream is hatched by founders Bridgett Perry and Chaya Spector, while traveling by small boat in Costa Rica!
Bridgett Perry travels to San Luis Potosi, Mexico, with native born Alicia Contreras to meet with disability related organizations in the region.
100 people gather at Casa DANE in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to see a presentation on assistive technology.
The Rotarians International and local Rotary of San Luis Potosi pledge to raise money for assistive technology equipment and software.  Bridgett raises funds to bring a US team to provide training at DANE.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was hosted by DANE and the Rotary to celebrate the first assistive technology lab in the region of San Luis Potosi Mexico. The CITTI Project provides the first international collaborative training.
The CITTI Project becomes a fiscally sponsored project of the Foundation for Sustainable Development (FSD) and contracts with their extensive international services, specifically in Ecuador.

The Core Team leaders of the CITTI Project raise money and travel to Ecuador to meet with disability related organizations.
The CITTI Project recruits and selects a team of 17 professionals and interns to work with teachers, therapists, and families of people with disabilities in and around Ambato, Ecuador.
IS a group of professionals and interns
who are students of another culture

IS a group of people developing their own awareness
about disability in another place in the world

IS an organization fostering a sustainable process
for developing countries to adopt assistive technology

IS an organization exposing others to new ideas
and resources through information exchange

IS a grassroots approach to building capacity
in developing countries to use assistive technology

IS a group of dedicated, passionate people
making an impact one community at a time

IS NOT a missionary group or a promotion of any religious message
