Our Goals
Increasing Awareness: To expose communities in developing countries to the benefits of assistive technology that can lead to a sustainable increase in the number of people with disabilities participating in education, employment, and independent living.
Increasing Availability: To collaborate with the community to assess and plan ways to provide assistive technology that is culturally sustainable and appropriate.
Increasing Support: To provide relevant and appropriate training and resources that enable communities new to assistive technology to become increasingly knowledgeable about its values.
Building Connections: To reach global scale through training local trainers, linking communities to share knowledge and skills, and escalating the connection between countries through online collaboration.
Our Mission
Community Inclusion Through Technology, International, (the CITTI Project), is changing assumptions and beliefs about people with disabilities in developing countries by building capacity in communities to create economic, sustainable adaptations, enabling people to participate in life situations, at home, school, and in the workforce.
